“We have a fairly large project with some specific design details. Ford poured two adjoining retaining walls with footings, a 3 ft by 40 ft winding sidewalk, a 22 ft by 10 ft driveway connected to a 22 ft by 26 ft concrete pad for vehicle and trailer parking with a raised shed base. Their attention to detail and verification of what we wanted was very good.The project leader, Todd, did a great job of keeping us informed of the status of the project and what would be happening next. The owner of the company even came out at one point to help work out some details. I can’t recommend Ford Concrete Construction enough. “I called Ford Concrete after finding them on Angie’s List and requested a quote for the following: 1) install a 360 sq. ft. patio in my backyard 2) repair walkway up to the front porch 3) replace 4’x18′ section of driveway that had fallen 3″ in front of the garage 4) replace three sections of broken sidewalk This was not a small project. The co-owner, Todd, was extremely responsive and agreed to come out within 48 hours to provide an estimate. The price they quoted was less than two competing bids. However, they said they were scheduling 2 months out. This was not a problem for me, so I agreed to have Ford do the work. I received a professional confirmation via email that required me to digitally approve the quote. I was impressed by the quality of this process since a different company I was working with had sent me only a hand-written proposal. In less than six weeks, Todd called, ready to begin the project. On Wednesday, a team of five members completed the initial excavation and prep work. On Thursday, they poured the concrete to all four areas, using a Bobcat to move the concrete to the backyard. On Friday, they returned to complete the clean-up work. Todd was physically on-site to inspect the work on each day. After the work was finished, Todd called and spoke with me at length to ensure I was happy with every aspect of the work. I have attached a few pictures. Since it’s been raining for the last two days, the concrete has a few dark areas due to the rain, but these clear up in the sunshine. I am very happy with the work Ford Concrete completed on our home and I can’t wait to use the new patio in our backyard. We have wanted to do this project since the day we moved in 10 years ago. To have this project finally completed is a dream come true.”
